About our Designs
Do I have to spell a name? can it be a word?
Yes! It can be whatever you want! A person's name, a state, a city, a phrase, etc. Although the site says 10 character limit, you can actually use more like 15.
Is Alphabet Shapes accepting suggestions for new letter styles?
Yes! Please send me your ideas, sketches, inspiration. In the future, I plan to feature the work of other typographers, as well as allowing visitors to submit their own Alphabet Shapes using a dowloadable template.
Can I request that all the letters in my name be in one single color, like with the Brooklyn shirt?
Yeah sure, I'll try to convert the full color letters you have chosen into one solid color. But variations on the original color letters may occur as they are converted to a single color. Good question!
Can I choose just initials and have you make each letter REALLY BIG?
YES!

What kind of shirts do you use?
All kinds. For toddlers, Rabbit Skins ringer shirts. For youth, Hanes tagless. For Youth and Adult, Organic Anvil.
Are all your shirts short-sleeve? Do you have long-sleeve?
All our shirts are short-sleeve, but soon we will offer long-sleeve shirts.
Do your shirts runs small? how is the sizing?
When you build a name and choose a shirt, the sizes are listed by ages, as opposed to T-Shirt sizes. Adult sizes are normal: med, large and XL. The Organic Anvil brand does run a little small because its narrow. With the kids, however, we have listed the sizes by age. We often will contact you via email, prior to the printing, just to make sure the size is correct for the age in mind.

How do you print the shirts?
We use color laser printers, self-weeding heat transfer paper and a heat press.
